Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A surface trough to lie near the Pilbara coast through to the northwest
Kimberley.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
On Wednesday a ridge of high pressure will be over the south coast, and a
surface trough will lie near the west coast. The surface trough will move
inland on Thursday as a weak cold front approaches the southwest. The cold
front will cross the southwest of the State on Friday. During Saturday a high
pressure system will move south of the State into the Bight.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 29 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, North Interior
and the adjacent Gascoyne.

Forecast for Wednesday 30 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and central Pilbara, mostly during
the afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Thursday 31 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and central Pilbara, mostly during
the afternoon and evening. Showers developing southwest of a line from
Busselton to Albany.

Forecast for Friday 1 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, and North Interior. Showers south
of a line from Lancelin to Hyden to Israelite Bay.

Forecast for Saturday 2 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, coastal Pilbara and North
Interior. Showers or drizzle in the Eucla, and southern Interior, clearing in
the afternoon.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Wednesday.
