Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A near stationary surface trough extends from the inland Kimberley to the
western Pilbara.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies to the south of the state with a trough near the
west coast. The trough will remain near the west coast over the weekend and is
expected to continue interacting with a middle level disturbance. A low
pressure system lies offshore from the central west coast and is expected to
drift south early next week.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 22 March
Isolated showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, Pilbara,
southern South Interior, inland Gascoyne, Southwest Land Division apart from
the Southwest district, Goldfields and Eucla. Isolated showers near the western
south coast.

Forecast for Sunday 23 March
Isolated showers and thunderstorms over the Southwest Land Division away from
the west coast and in the north and west Kimberley, Pilbara, inland Gascoyne,
Goldfields and the western and southern Interior. Isolated showers near the
south coast.

Forecast for Monday 24 March
Isolated showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, Pilbara,
inland Gascoyne and northern parts of the Southwest Land Division away from the
west coast. Isolated morning showers near the Eucla coast and the adjacent
Southeast Coastal district.

Forecast for Tuesday 25 March
Showers and thunderstorms for the Kimberley, western Pilbara, western Gascoyne
and western parts of the Southwest Land Division, mainly afternoon and evening.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
