Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A surface trough lies near the Pilbara coast and through the northwest
Kimberley.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies along the south coast with a weak surface trough
near the west coast. The trough will move inland on Thursday as a weak cold
front approaches the southwest and brushes the south coast during Friday. On
Saturday a high pressure system will move south of the State into the Bight.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 30 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and central Pilbara, mostly during
the afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Thursday 31 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and central Pilbara, mostly during
the afternoon and evening. Showers near the south coast west of Albany.

Forecast for Friday 1 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and North Interior, mostly
afternoon and evening. Light showers or drizzle south of a line from Perth to
Katanning to Israelite Bay.

Forecast for Saturday 2 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and near the Pilbara coast, mostly
during the afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Sunday 3 April
Showers and thunderstorms near the Kimberley coast and near the central and
east Pilbara coast, mostly during the afternoon and evening.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Thursday.
