Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A surface trough extends from the inland Pilbara to the North Interior and will
move northwards on Tuesday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies near the south coast with a weakening trough and
associated cloud band extending over the eastern Gascoyne through to the
western Eucla. The trough will move eastwards and continue to weaken through to
Monday afternoon. A new surface trough will develop near the west coast by
Tuesday morning and deepen further on Wednesday. The trough will move inland on
Thursday ahead of a weak front approaching the southwest of the State.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 27 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, central Pilbara,
eastern Gascoyne, northern and central Goldfields and eastern parts of the
South West Land Division. Rain areas and thunderstorms over the southern
Goldfields, Eucla and the South Interior. Showers over remaining southern
coastal parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Monday 28 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern and western Kimberley, inland
Pilbara, eastern Gascoyne, northeast Goldfields and the Interior. Showers over
southeastern parts of the South West Land Division, remaining Goldfields and
the Eucla, contracting to the Eucla coast in the evening.

Forecast for Tuesday 29 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara and adjacent parts
of the North Interior and the Gascoyne, mostly afternoon and evening. Morning
showers along the Eucla Coast.

Forecast for Wednesday 30 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central Pilbara and the adjacent
Gascoyne, mostly afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Thursday 31 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara and the adjacent
northeast Gascoyne, mostly afternoon and evening. Showers developing southwest
of a line from Busselton to Bremer Bay during the afternoon and evening.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Monday.
