Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A surface trough that extends from the inland Pilbara to the North Interior is
moving northwards and will lie from the Pilbara coast through the central
Kimberley on Wednesday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies near the south coast. A surface trough will
deepen near the west coast on Thursday, and move inland ahead of a weak front
that will move across the southwest of the State on Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 28 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara and North
Interior. Light showers over the Goldfields and the Eucla.

Forecast for Tuesday 29 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara and North
Interior, mostly during the afternoon and evening. Light showers possible in
the Goldfields and Eucla.

Forecast for Wednesday 30 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and central Pilbara, mostly during
the afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Thursday 31 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and central Pilbara, mostly during
the afternoon and evening. Showers developing southwest of a line from
Busselton to Albany during the afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Friday 1 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara and North
Interior. Showers south of a line from Lancelin to Hyden to Israelite Bay.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Tuesday.
