Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad area of low pressure lies over the Kimberley and extends through the
inland Pilbara, occasionally pushing offshore of the Pilbara for periods during
the morning. A high pressure system to the south will push dry and gusty east
to southeasterly winds through inland parts for the next couple of days.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies near the south coast. A high will move over the
Bight on Monday with a trough developing inland from the west coast. The trough
will remain near the west coast for the remainder of the week as a new high
pressure system gradually strengthens south of the State.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 29 October
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the northern Kimberley.

Forecast for Monday 30 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, mostly in the afternoon and
evening. The chance of showers and thunderstorms over the western Pilbara in
the afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Tuesday 31 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and far northern parts of the
Interior. The chance of showers and thunderstorms over the central and western
Pilbara and the northern Gascoyne, mostly in the afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Wednesday 1 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northern parts of the Interior
and the northeast Pilbara, mostly in the afternoon and evening. Showers near
the south coast.

Forecast for Thursday 2 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley and the northeast
Pilbara, mostly in the afternoon and evening. Showers over southern parts of
the South West Land Division, the Eucla and the southern Goldfields, with
thunderstorms possible over the Eucla and southern Goldfields in the afternoon
and evening.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Monday.
