Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad area of low pressure lies over the Kimberley and extends through the
inland Pilbara, occasionally pushing offshore of the Pilbara for periods during
the morning.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies over central parts of the State with a weak cold
front brushing the south coast. Behind the front the ridge will move over
southern parts of the State during Sunday. A high will move over the Bight on
Monday with a trough developing inland from the west coast which will then
deepen on Tuesday and remain near the west coast on Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 28 October
Showers near the coast between Perth and Albany extending to southwest of
Geraldton to Esperance by evening. Showers increasing over the Southwest, Lower
West and South Coastal districts in the evening. Afternoon showers and
thunderstorms about the north and east Kimberley.

Forecast for Sunday 29 October
Showers over much of the South West Land Division, southern Goldfields and
coastal parts of the Eucla, clearing during the day. Afternoon showers and
thunderstorms about the eastern and northern Kimberley and adjacent Interior.

Forecast for Monday 30 October
Afternoon showers and thunderstorms about the central and east Kimberley and
over the northeast Interior. The chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms
over the inland west Pilbara. Morning showers possible for the Eucla coast.

Forecast for Tuesday 31 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and far northern parts of the
Interior. The chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms over the northeast
Pilbara.

Forecast for Wednesday 1 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern and western Kimberley and far
northern parts of the Interior. The chance of afternoon showers and
thunderstorms over the inland west Pilbara and the adjacent Gascoyne. Showers
developing along the south coast and adjacent parts west of Hopetoun during the
day.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Sunday.
