Western Australia Forecast

Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad area of low pressure lies over the Kimberley and extends through the
inland Pilbara, occasionally pushing offshore of the Pilbara for periods during
the morning. A high pressure system to the south will push dry and gusty east
to southeasterly winds through inland parts for the next few days.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system lies well south of the State, with the high pressure
system moving slowly east over the next few days to lie well south of the
State, with a surface trough developing near the west coast. The pattern
remains near stationary through to Saturday, with fresh and gusty east to
southeasterly winds over southern districts.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 31 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and far northern parts of the
Interior. The chance of showers and thunderstorms over the western Pilbara and
adjacent Pilbara.

Forecast for Wednesday 1 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northern parts of the Interior
and the northeast Pilbara, mostly in the afternoon and evening. Showers near
the south coast.

Forecast for Thursday 2 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley and the northeast
Pilbara, mostly in the afternoon and evening. Showers near the south coast and
Eucla coast.

Forecast for Friday 3 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, mostly in the
afternoon and evening. Showers near the south coast and Eucla coast. possibly
reaching the southern Goldfields for a period in the morning. Gusty east to
southeasterly winds over southern districts.

Forecast for Saturday 4 November
Early morning showers and thunderstorms possible over the southern Interior and
eastern Eucla. Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley and
eastern coastal parts of the Pilbara, mostly in the afternoon and evening.
Showers near the south coast.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Wednesday.
