Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad area of low pressure lies over the Kimberley and extends through the
inland Pilbara, occasionally pushing offshore of the Pilbara for periods during
the morning. A high pressure system to the south will push dry and gusty east
to southeasterly winds through inland parts for the next couple of days.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A very weak cold front will brush the western south coast Tuesday evening. The
ridge of high pressure will build south of the State during Wednesday as a high
pressure system approaches the SW corner. On Thursday the high pressure system
will move slowly south of the State and the surface trough will develop near
the west coast. The high will move south of the Bight on Friday and the surface
trough will move inland from the west coast.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 30 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley. The chance of high-based showers
and thunderstorms over the western Pilbara.

Forecast for Tuesday 31 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and far northern parts of the
Interior. The chance of showers and thunderstorms over the central and western
Pilbara, mostly in the afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Wednesday 1 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northern parts of the Interior
and the northeast Pilbara, mostly in the afternoon and evening. Drizzle areas
near the south coast, extending to adjacent inland areas for a period during
the day.

Forecast for Thursday 2 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley and the northeast
Pilbara, mostly in the afternoon and evening. Drizzle areas and showers over
southern parts of the South West Land Division, the Eucla and the southern
Goldfields.

Forecast for Friday 3 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, mostly in the
afternoon and evening. Areas of drizzle near the south coast east of Albany,
clearing in the afternoon and evening. Showers and thunderstorms possible over
the South Interior, Eucla and southern Goldfields.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Tuesday.
