Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies over the inland Pilbara and central Kimberley and will
remaining fairly stationary for the next few days. A tropical low may develop
well to the north of the State during Wednesday and Thursday and could cross
the eastern Pilbara or western Kimberley coast later on Friday or during
Saturday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A surface trough extends from the Gascoyne through to the Goldfields and
western Eucla with a new ridge of high pressure developing to the southwest of
the State. As the trough moves further east on Wednesday the ridge will extend
to the south of the State with a high moving into the Bight late Thursday. A
new surface trough begins to develop through central parts of the west coast
later Thursday and during Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 26 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, Pilbara, inland
Gascoyne, Goldfields, eastern Eucla and most of the South West Land Division.
Drizzle and light showers near the south coast west of Bremer Bay.

Forecast for Wednesday 27 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, inland Pilbara, inland
Gascoyne, southern Goldfields, and northern parts of the South West Land
Division. Showers near the south coast.

Forecast for Thursday 28 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northern and central Interior,
Pilbara, northern and western Gascoyne and the adjacent Central West district.
Showers over the Eucla.

Forecast for Friday 29 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northern Interior, Pilbara,
inland Gascoyne and northwestern parts of the South West Land Division. Morning
showers over the south and Eucla coasts east of Albany.

Forecast for Saturday 30 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northern and western Interior,
Pilbara, Gascoyne and northwestern parts of the South West Land Division
extending into the western Goldfields and central parts of the South West Land
Division during the afternoon.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Wednesday.
