Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough lies over the inland Pilbara and across the northwest Kimberley and is
expected to persist for the next few days.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough lies from the western Gascoyne down across the state to the western
Eucla, and is moving east in southern parts today. A ridge of high pressure is
strengthening south of the state in the wake of the trough. A new trough
develops near the west coast on Monday, before moving eastwards on Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 28 December
Showers and thunderstorms in the northeastern Kimberley. Chance of morning
drizzle near the western south coast.

Forecast for Monday 29 December
Showers and thunderstorms in the northern Kimberley.

Forecast for Tuesday 30 December
Showers and thunderstorms in the northern Kimberley. Chance of showers and
thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening in the southern Central Wheat Belt,
Great Southern , South and Southeast coastal districts.

Forecast for Wednesday 31 December
Showers and thunderstorms in the Kimberley, adjacent Pilbara, northeast
Gascoyne, Goldfields and Eucla. Isolated showers about the Central West coast,
south coastal parts of the SW district, South and Southeast coastal districts.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
