Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough will remain across the central Kimberley and near the Pilbara coast
for the next few days.
Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge lies south of the state with a high pressure system in the Bight. A
trough is developing near the west coast and should deepen over the next few
days before moving inland during Sunday.
Forecast for the rest of Friday 28 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the north Kimberley. Light morning showers along
the Eucla coast.
Forecast for Saturday 1 March
Showers and thunderstorms in the north and east Kimberley, mainly afternoon and
evening.
Forecast for Sunday 2 March
Showers and thunderstorms in the north and east Kimberley, mostly afternoon and
evening.
Forecast for Monday 3 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and far northeast Interior, mostly
afternoon and evening.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
