Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough will remain across the central Kimberley and coastal Pilbara for the
next few days, pushing off the Pilbara coast during the mornings.
Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure south of the state will dominate the weather pattern
for the next week with a surface trough near the west coast.
Forecast for the rest of Sunday 23 February
Showers and thunderstorms in the northwest and far eastern Kimberley, western
Pilbara, the far northwest and southeast Gascoyne and the western Goldfields.
Morning showers near the south coast east of Esperance.
Forecast for Monday 24 February
Showers and thunderstorms about the Kimberley and northern Interior and the far
western Pilbara. Showers developing along the western south coast later in the
day.
Forecast for Tuesday 25 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and northeastern Interior. Showers
near the south coast, extending to the western Eucla coast during the day.
Forecast for Wednesday 26 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara and far northeastern
Interior. Showers near the eastern south coast and through the Eucla, easing
during the day.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
