Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough will remain across the central Kimberley and coastal Pilbara for the
next few days. A low over the Northern Territory will increase the thunderstorm
activity in the Kimberley during Tuesday and Wednesday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough lies just inland from the west coast. The trough is expected to move
east along the south coast as a weak front brushes the south coast late Monday
and during Tuesday. A new ridge develops south of the state in the wake of the
front.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 24 February
Showers and thunderstorms about the Kimberley, mainly in the east, and in the
northeastern Interior. Isolated showers developing about the south coast in the
evening.

Forecast for Tuesday 25 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and northeastern Interior. Showers
near the western south coast, extending eastwards during the day to reach Eucla
by evening, and clearing west of Bremer Bay during the day.

Forecast for Wednesday 26 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and northeastern Interior. Showers
near the south coast, clearing near and west of Esperance during the morning.

Forecast for Thursday 27 February
Showers and thunderstorms in the Kimberley, mainly in the north. Isolated
showers about the south coast east of Esperance, clearing during the morning.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
