Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough will remain across the central Kimberley and near the Pilbara coast
for the next few days.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge lies south of the state with a high pressure system in the Bight. A
deep trough lies near the west coast, and will begin to move inland during
Sunday as the high pressure system moves eastwards. On Tuesday a new high
pressure system will move south of the state into the Bight.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 1 March
Showers and thunderstorms in the north and east Kimberley, mostly afternoon and
evening.

Forecast for Sunday 2 March
Showers and thunderstorms in the north and east Kimberley, mostly afternoon and
evening.

Forecast for Monday 3 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and far northeast Interior, mostly
afternoon and evening. Chance of some drizzle near the South and the Southeast
Coastal districts.

Forecast for Tuesday 4 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and far northeast Interior, mostly
afternoon and evening. Chance of some morning drizzle west of Israelite Bay.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
