Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough will remain across the central Kimberley and near the Pilbara coast
for the next few days.
Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge lies south of the state with a high pressure system moving into the
Bight today and tomorrow. A trough is developing near the west coast and should
continue to slowly deepen over the next few days.
Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 26 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and far northeastern Interior.
Isolated light showers near the central and eastern south coast and further
inland in the Eucla, contracting to the Eucla coast by the afternoon.
Forecast for Thursday 27 February
Showers and thunderstorms in the Kimberley. Isolated light showers about the
south coast east of Esperance, clearing during the morning.
Forecast for Friday 28 February
Isolated showers and thunderstorms in the northern Kimberley and far inland
west Pilbara, mainly afternoon and evening. Isolated light showers along the
Eucla coast in the morning.
Forecast for Saturday 1 March
Isolated showers and thunderstorms in the northern Kimberley and far inland
west Pilbara, mainly afternoon and evening. Isolated light showers along the
Eucla coast in the morning.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
