Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough of low pressure extends from the inland Pilbara through the North
Interior. A tropical low over the NT is likely to move slowly west into the
Kimberley next week, bringing an increase in rainfall over the north Kimberley.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system will move into the Bight on Sunday with a surface trough
deepening near the west coast on Monday and Tuesday, moving eastwards on
Wednesday. Becoming very hot over western parts next week.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 31 December
Showers near the south coast.
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northeast Pilbara and North
Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 1 January
Showers near the south coast east of Albany, clearing during the morning.
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara and the Interior.

Forecast for Monday 2 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northern Gascoyne and
Interior. Morning showers near the Eucla coast.

Forecast for Tuesday 3 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara and Gascoyne. Possible
heavy falls over the north Kimberley. Hot to very hot in western parts.

Forecast for Wednesday 4 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, western Pilbara and Gascoyne.
Possible heavy falls over the north Kimberley. Hot to very hot through most
western parts of the State.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Sunday.
