Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough of low pressure extends from the inland Pilbara through the North
Interior.
Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak cold front forecast to brush the southwest corner on Friday. A ridge of
high pressure will develop south of the State over the weekend. A surface
trough will deepen near the west coast on Monday.
Forecast for the rest of Thursday 29 December
Showers near Eucla coast. Showers and thunderstorms over the eastern Kimberley
and northeast Interior.
Forecast for Friday 30 December
Showers and thunderstorms about the South West district and adjacent parts,
extending to remaining southern coastal parts in the afternoon.
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern and eastern Kimberley, North
Interior and adjacent Pilbara.
Forecast for Saturday 31 December
Showers along the south coast, clearing during the morning. Morning
thunderstorms possible about the South East Coastal district.
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northeast Pilbara and Interior.
Forecast for Sunday 1 January
Showers along the eastern south coast and the Eucla coast, clearing during the
morning.
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, northern and
eastern Gascoyne and the north and west Interior.
Forecast for Monday 2 January
Showers along the Eucla coast, clearing during the morning.
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, inland Gascoyne,
western Interior, Central West, and adjacent Central Wheat Belt.
