Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A general north to northwesterly flow over most parts ahead of a southwesterly
change developing from the west during Sunday and a high pressure ridge
develops over central parts of the state during Monday and Tuesday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A low pressure system will move along the south coast during the remainder of
Saturday and during Sunday On Monday and Tuesday a high pressure ridge will
develop over central parts of the State.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 27 August
Showers southwest of a line Onslow to Eucla in the afternoon. A band of rain
with gusty winds moving east over the Goldfields, Gascoyne and Eucla. Possible
thunderstorms near the south coast between Cape Leeuwin and Esperance. Gusty
winds over the southern half of the State.

Forecast for Sunday 28 August
A band of showers through the Interior, northeast Gascoyne, Pilbara and Eucla
moving east during the day. Showers possible over the Kimberley. Showers over
the South West Land Division, clearing northern districts during the afternoon.
Thunderstorms possible near the south coast between Bremer Bay and Israelite
Bay.

Forecast for Monday 29 August
Showers near the west coast. Showers near the southern and Eucla coasts,
extending to adjacent inland parts for a period during the day. Showers
possible over the Kimberley, tending to rain over the southwest Kimberley, far
eastern Pilbara and northern Interior.

Forecast for Tuesday 30 August
Showers over the Kimberley and northern Interior, easing during the day.
Showers near the south coast, clearing during the afternoon. Showers increasing
and extending from the southwest Capes to be southwest of a line Geraldton to
Bremer Bay by near midnight with the chance of thunderstorms southwest of a
line Perth to Albany Tuesday night.

Forecast for Wednesday 31 August
Showers southwest of a line Carnarvon to Israelite bay, contracting to the
southern and eastern parts of the South West Land Division, Goldfields and the
Eucla in the evening. Moderate falls likely over western and southern parts of
the South West Land Division. The chance of showers near the west Kimberley
coast.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Sunday.
