Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies across southern parts of the State with a trough
of low pressure through the central Kimberley. The trough deepens and extends
south into the eastern Interior. A strong ridge develops over the central and
southern parts from Tuesday with a strong southeasterly wind developing over
the Pilbara from Tuesday morning.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies across southern parts of the State. A cold front
will move over the South West Land Division during Sunday afternoon and evening
and moves eastwards into the southeast of the State during Monday. Cold and
windy conditions developing across the southern half on Monday in the wake of
the front.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 20 August
Showers about the coastal parts east of Augusta, extending into inland parts of
the Southeast Coastal, Goldfields, and the Eucla. The chance of thunderstorms
about the Southeast Coastal District. Light showers possible in the north and
eastern Kimberley and the northeast Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 21 August
Morning showers over coastal parts east of Esperance with the risk of a
thunderstorm in the Eucla in the early morning. Showers possible in the north
and east Kimberley and the northeast Interior. Showers southwest of a line
Geraldton to Albany, becoming more widespread during the afternoon and evening
with the chance of thunderstorms south of Perth to Southern Cross. Showers
extending to southwest of a line Shark Bay to Southern Cross to Ravensthorpe
during the evening. Small hail possible in showers and thunderstorms southwest
of Mandurah and Walpole in the late evening. Areas of morning frost over the
Central Wheat Belt and Central West.

Forecast for Monday 22 August
Cold and windy across the southern half of the State with showers. Some small
hail and the chance of thunderstorms in the south. Showers clearing inland
western parts during the morning and afternoon. Showers possible in the
northern Kimberley.

Forecast for Tuesday 23 August
Showers about the coastal parts east of Cape Naturaliste, extending over
adjacent inland parts for a period in the day. Showers with the chance of small
hail and thunderstorms about southern coastal districts east of Esperance,
extending throughout the Eucla and adjacent Southern Interior in the morning.
Morning showers possible about the northeaster Kimberley. Areas of morning
frost over the inland parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Wednesday 24 August
Showers about the southern coastal parts, eastern Goldfields, the Eucla and the
southern Interior. Small hail possible in the showers over the Eucla and
Southern Interior. Areas of morning frost over the inland parts of the South
West Land Division.
