Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A ridge extends over the south of the State with a high pressure system moving
into the Bight by Thursday night. On Friday a trough develops through the
Pilbara and Kimberley, with the trough moving east on Saturday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge extends over the south of the State with a high pressure system off the
southwest coast moving into the Bight by Thursday night. During Friday a cold
front moves east through the South West Land Division, with the front reaching
the southeast of the State Saturday morning.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 23 August
Showers over the South East Coastal, southeast Goldfields, southeast South
Interior and the Eucla districts.

Forecast for Wednesday 24 August
Showers about the southern coastal parts east of Albany, the Goldfields, the
Eucla and the far south Interior. Showers clearing the Goldfields and South
Interior in the evening. Areas of morning frost over the inland parts of the
South West Land Division, southern Goldfields and far south Interior.

Forecast for Thursday 25 August
Showers near the south coast east of Albany, clearing to east of Esperance
during the morning. Showers over eastern South East Coastal, the Eucla and
adjacent Goldfields, clearing during the afternoon.

Forecast for Friday 26 August
Showers increasing about the southwest Capes near sunrise and extending to
southwest of a line Shark Bay to Esperance by evening. Showers becoming more
widespread during the afternoon. Moderate to heavy falls possible over the
South West and Lower West districts. Gusty winds with the showers as they
extend east. Thunderstorms possible from the afternoon southwest of a line
Bunbury to Bremer Bay.

Forecast for Saturday 27 August
Showers southwest of a line Carnarvon to Eyre, extending to southwest of a line
Onslow to Eucla in the afternoon. Showers tending more widespread over the
Goldfields and Eucla as well as over southern and western coastal districts of
the South West Land Division. Thunderstorms possible along the south coast.
Hail possible southwest of a line Yanchep to Esperance, mainly in the morning.
Gusty winds over the southern half of the State.
