Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies near the Pilbara coast and extends to the inland Kimberley.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A deep trough lies just inland from the west coast, and will move eastwards
during Sunday. A weakening cold front will reach the southwest corner of the
State during Monday afternoon. A new ridge of high pressure will develop south
of the State in the wake of the front during Tuesday before a high pressure
system moves into the Bight on Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 27 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northern and western
Interior, western Goldfields, inland Gascoyne and central and eastern parts of
the South West Land Division. Thunderstorms possibly severe in southern parts
of the South West Land Division, with damaging winds and large hail possible.

Forecast for Sunday 28 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, Pilbara,
northwestern Interior, western Goldfields, inland Gascoyne and over central and
eastern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Monday 29 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, northern and
eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, western Eucla and the Southeast Coastal district.
Showers developing over the Southwest district from late morning, extending
Lower West and western parts of the Great Southern and South Coastal district
during the afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Tuesday 1 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, western and
southern Interior, Goldfields, northeastern Gascoyne and Eucla. Showers and
thunderstorms clearing from the Goldfields and Eucla during the day. Morning
showers over the Southeast Coastal district.

Forecast for Wednesday 2 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara and inland Gascoyne

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Sunday.
