Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the inland Pilbara to the North Interior and will
contract northwards on Friday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure is developing along the south coast. A trough will
begin to develop near the southern Gascoyne coast on Thursday and deepen
towards the south coast as a high pressure system moves south of the State on
Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 24 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, southeastern Pilbara, Interior
and the northeastern Gascoyne. Showers over the south and Eucla coasts.

Forecast for Thursday 25 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, northern and
central Interior, northeastern Gascoyne and northern Goldfields. Morning
showers near the Eucla coast.

Forecast for Friday 26 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, northern and
western Interior, eastern and southern Gascoyne, northern Goldfields and inland
parts of the northern Central West district.

Forecast for Saturday 27 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern Pilbara,
northern and western Interior, western Goldfields, southern and eastern
Gascoyne, Central Wheat Belt, Great Southern and inland parts of the Central
West, Lower West, Southwest and South Coastal districts.

Forecast for Sunday 28 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern Pilbara,
northwestern Interior, western Goldfields, eastern Gascoyne, and central and
eastern parts of the South West Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Thursday.
