Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies near the Pilbara coast and extends to the inland Kimberley.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A deep trough extends from the Gascoyne to the Southeast Coastal district. A
weakening cold front will reach the southwest corner of the State during Monday
afternoon and evening. A new ridge of high pressure will develop south of the
State in the wake of the front during Tuesday before a high pressure system
moves into the Bight on Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 28 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northwestern Interior,
western Goldfields, inland Gascoyne and eastern parts of the South West Land
Division.

Forecast for Monday 29 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne, Goldfields,
western Eucla and the Southeast Coastal district. Showers developing over the
Southwest district from late morning, extending to the Lower West and western
parts of the Great Southern and South Coastal districts during the afternoon
and evening.

Forecast for Tuesday 1 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, western and
southern Interior, eastern and northern Goldfields, northeastern Gascoyne and
Eucla. Showers and thunderstorms clearing from the Goldfields and Eucla during
the day. Morning showers about the South and Southeast Coastal districts.

Forecast for Wednesday 2 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, inland Gascoyne
and northern Goldfields. Morning showers possible about the Eucla coast.

Forecast for Thursday 3 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, inland Gascoyne,
Goldfields and eastern parts of the Central Wheat Belt.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Monday.
