Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A weak ridge of high pressure over the south of the state. A cloud band will
develop over the northwest during Wednesday and Thursday.
Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak cloud band over the southwest of the State will move across northwestern
parts on Wednesday and Thursday then clear eastwards across the Interior on
Friday. A moderate to strong cold front will move across the west of the State
on Saturday.
Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 3 September
Showers in the Gascoyne, northern Goldfields, northern South West Land
Division, and the adjacent Eucla, with only light falls expected. Morning
showers in the southern Goldfields and eastern South West Land Division.
Forecast for Thursday 4 September
Light showers over the Gascoyne, northern Goldfields, South Interior and the
southern Pilbara. Light falls away from the northern Gascoyne coast.
Forecast for Friday 5 September
Light showers over the South Interior.
Forecast for Saturday 6 September
Showers developing near the west coast in the morning and extending across
areas southwest of Coral Bay to Norseman during the day. Gusty winds and
moderate to heavy falls southwest of Jurien Bay to Bremer Bay.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
