Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough lies near the Pilbara and Kimberley coast.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies over southern parts of the State. A cold front
will move over the southwest of the State on Saturday. A new ridge will develop
over southern parts during Sunday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 26 September
Showers southwest of a line from Mandurah to Walpole, extending to south of a
line Perth to Albany by late evening.

Forecast for Saturday 27 September
Showers and rain areas as a cold front moves over the South West Land Division,
expected to lie near the southwest Capes early morning and near Kalbarri to
Esperance by evening. Moderate to heavy falls possible about the South West
district and adjacent parts. Showers persisting in the wake of the front, with
showers reaching southwest parts of the Gascoyne and Goldfields in the evening.
Isolated thunderstorms extending from the southwest behind the front, reaching
southwest of a line Perth to Albany by evening. Small hail possible from the
afternoon over the South West district and adjacent South Coastal district.
Gusty northwesterly winds ahead of the front, with possible raised dust in the
Gascoyne, Goldfields and Eucla in the afternoon.

Forecast for Sunday 28 September
Showers over the South West Land Division, clearing inland parts early in the
morning and clearing to coastal parts south of Jurien Bay by the late
afternoon. Pre dawn showers over southwest parts of the Gascoyne and Goldfields.

Forecast for Monday 29 September
Showers southwest of a line Jurien Bay to Esperance, clearing to coastal parts
in the evening.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
