Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough lies over the far northern Kimberley. A ridge of high pressure over
the south of the State will produce moderate to fresh east to southeast winds
south of the trough.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies over southern parts of the State. A cold front
will move over the southwest of the State on Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 25 September
Showers southwest of a line from Mandurah to Albany.

Forecast for Friday 26 September
Showers southwest of a line from Mandurah to Walpole.

Forecast for Saturday 27 September
Showers and rain areas as a cold front moves over the South West Land Division,
expected to lie near the southwest Capes early morning and near Geraldton to
Esperance by evening. Moderate to heavy falls possible about the South West
district and adjacent parts. Showers persisting in the wake of the front, with
showers reaching the southwest Gascoyne in the evening. Gusty northwesterly
winds with possible raised dust in the Gascoyne, Goldfields and Eucla in the
afternoon.

Forecast for Sunday 28 September
Pre dawn showers clearing from the southwest Pilbara, the central and eastern
Gascoyne and northern Goldfields. Showers over western and southern parts of
the South West Land Division, southern Goldfields and western Eucla,
contracting to southern coastal parts towards evening.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Thursday.
