Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough lies near the Pilbara and Kimberley coast.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front will move over the southwest of the State on Saturday. A new ridge
will develop over southern parts during Sunday, and a weak front will brush the
western south coast during the afternoon and evening. On Monday the ridge
continue to lie over southern parts of the State, before moving south of the
State on Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 27 September
Showers and rain areas as a cold front moves over the South West Land Division,
expected to lie near the southwest Capes early morning and near Kalbarri to
Esperance by evening. Gusty winds and moderate to heavy falls possible about
the South West district and adjacent parts. Showers persisting in the wake of
the front, with showers reaching southwest parts of the Gascoyne and Goldfields
in the evening. Isolated thunderstorms and small hail possible extending from
the southwest behind the front, and reaching southwest of a line Bunbury to
Bremer Bay by evening. Gusty northwesterly winds ahead of the front, with
possible raised dust in the Gascoyne, Goldfields and Eucla in the afternoon.

Forecast for Sunday 28 September
Showers southwest of a line Geraldton to Esperance to Israelite Bay, clearing
inland parts in the afternoon. Pre dawn showers over coastal parts of the
Gascoyne.

Forecast for Monday 29 September
Showers southwest of a line Geraldton to Esperance, clearing to coastal parts
in the evening.

Forecast for Tuesday 30 September
Showers near the south coast west of Israelite Bay during the morning.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
