Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough lies over the far northern Kimberley. A ridge of high pressure over
the south of the State will produce fresh moderate to fresh southeast winds
south of the trough.
Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front is moving slowly across the far southeast of the State with a
ridge of high pressure developing over southern parts of the State. A high will
develop near the south coast during Wednesday before a trough extends through
central parts of the State on Thursday. A cold front will approach the far
southwest of the State later on Friday.
Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 23 September
Rain areas with moderate to heavy falls over the southeaster Interior and Eucla
easing to showers during the day and contracting to the Eucla coast by evening.
Showers over the remaining south coastal districts and far southern Goldfields
contracting to the south coast during the day.
Forecast for Wednesday 24 September
Showers over southern coastal districts and the Eucla contracting to the South
West and the western South Coastal districts during the day. Afternoon showers
developing over the far northern Kimberley.
Forecast for Thursday 25 September
Showers southwest of a line from Mandurah to Bremer Bay contracting to the
Southwest Capes during the afternoon and evening. The chance of afternoon
showers for the far northern Kimberley.
Forecast for Friday 26 September
Showers southwest of a line from Bunbury to Albany.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
