Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough lies through the Kimberley and Pilbara.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak cold front will brush the western south coast today. By Tuesday a ridge
of high pressure will move south of the State. A trough and low pressure system
will deepen near the west coast on Wednesday, before moving eastwards on
Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 29 September
Showers southwest of a line Geraldton to Israelite Bay, contracting to coastal
parts in the evening.

Forecast for Tuesday 30 September
Showers near the south coast, clearing during the day. Isolated early morning
showers about northern coastal parts of the Lower West.

Forecast for Wednesday 1 October
The chance of thunderstorms during the late afternoon and evening through the
Central Wheat Belt, Great Southern, western Goldfields and far southeast
Gascoyne, extending into northern parts of the South and Southeast Coastal
district in the evening.

Forecast for Thursday 2 October
Showers and thunderstorms about central and eastern parts of the South West
Land Division and Goldfields, contracting eastwards to become confined to the
southern Interior, eastern Goldfields and Eucla by evening. Areas of drizzle
about the Central West coast, extending to coastal parts of the Lower West and
South West districts in the evening.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
