The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
Davidson County in middle Tennessee...
southern Sumner County in middle Tennessee...
northwestern Wilson County in middle Tennessee...

* until 945 PM CST

* at 911 PM CST...National Weather Service meteorologists were
tracking a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing a
tornado. These dangerous storms were located along a line extending
from Goodlettsville to Forest Hills...and moving east at 45 mph.

* Locations impacted include...
Gallatin...Madison...Oak Hill...Old Hickory...Lakewood...
Hendersonville...Hermitage...Mount Juliet...Rural Hill...Belinda
City...Berry Hill and Percy Priest Lake.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

This line of thunderstorms is capable of producing tornadoes and
widespread significant wind damage. Do not wait to see or hear the
tornado. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest
floor of your home or business.

* Tornado Warning for...
Robertson County in middle Tennessee...
western Sumner County in middle Tennessee...

* until 930 PM CST

* at 848 PM CST...National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated a
severe squall line capable of producing rain-wrapped tornadoes in
addition to widespread straight line wind damage. These dangerous
storms were located along a line extending from 10 miles north of
Springfield to 6 miles northeast of Ashland City...and moving east
at 55 mph.

* Locations impacted include...
Springfield...Greenbrier...Ridgetop...Cross Plains...White House...
Millersville...Portland...Orlinda...Mitchellville and Cottontown.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Take cover now. Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building. Avoid windows. If in a Mobile home...a vehicle or
outdoors...move to the closest substantial shelter and protect
yourself from flying debris.

multiple tornadoes was located along a line extending from Ashland
City to 5 miles southeast of Burns. Tornadoes may form rapidly
anywhere in this line of storms. The line of storms was moving east
at 55 mph.

* Locations impacted include...
Nashville...Kingston Springs...Pegram...Joelton...Bellevue...Belle
Meade...Goodlettsville...Forest Hills...Madison...Oak Hill...Old
