Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A surface trough lies across the western Kimberley and inland Pilbara and
remain stationary over the next few days. A weak tropical low will move across
the far northern Kimberley during Friday and Saturday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies over the south of the State. A trough near the
west coast will deepen during Friday and Saturday before moving inland from the
west coast Saturday night.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 23 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the inland Pilbara, central and west Kimberley
and northeast North Interior.

Forecast for Friday 24 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the inland northwestern Gascoyne, Pilbara, North
Interior and Kimberley.

Forecast for Saturday 25 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Central West and northern Lower West
districts, the western inland Gascoyne, Pilbara, North Interior and Kimberley,
mostly afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Sunday 26 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Great Southern, Central Wheat Belt and
inland Central West districts, the Gascoyne, Pilbara, western Goldfields,
northwest Interior and the Kimberley.

Forecast for Monday 27 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the eastern Great Southern, eastern Central
Wheat Belt, the inland Gascoyne, Pilbara, western and northern Goldfields and
the Kimberley.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Friday.
