Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A surface trough lies near the Kimberley coast and Pilbara coast and will
remain fairly stationary over the next few days.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system will persist in the Bight through to the weekend while a
surface trough lingers near the west coast. Very hot conditions are expected on
and east of the trough.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 28 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northwest Interior, Pilbara,
Gascoyne, Goldfields, eastern parts of the South West Land Division and western
Eucla.

Forecast for Wednesday 1 March
Showers and thunderstorms over inland central and northern parts of the South
West Land Division and also Kimberley, Pilbara and Gascoyne.

Forecast for Thursday 2 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne and through the
South West Land Division apart from the west coast south of Dongara and the
eastern Southeast Coastal district.

Forecast for Friday 3 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne and through the
South West Land Division apart from the west coast south of Dongara and the
eastern Southeast Coastal district.

Forecast for Saturday 4 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, near Pilbara coast, far western
Gascoyne, South West Land Division apart from the west coast south of Geraldton.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Wednesday.
