Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A surface trough lies across the western Kimberley and inland Pilbara and will
persist over the next few days. A weak tropical low will move across the far
northern Kimberley from Friday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front and surface trough will move east, out of the State this evening.
A new ridge of high pressure is developing over the south of the State and will
continue to push east during Wednesday. On Thursday a high pressure system will
move into the Bight with a surface trough forming down the west coast. The
surface trough will persist and deepen near the west coast on Friday and
Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 21 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the western Kimberley, Pilbara, northeast
Gascoyne, eastern Eucla. Showers near southern coastal parts. Windy across much
of the southern half of the State.

Forecast for Wednesday 22 February
Showers near the south coast, mainly in the morning. Showers and thunderstorms
over the inland east Pilbara, central and west Kimberley and adjacent northern
Interior.

Forecast for Thursday 23 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the inland Pilbara, central and west Kimberley
and adjacent northern Interior.

Forecast for Friday 24 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, north Interior, north and west
Pilbara and western Gascoyne.

Forecast for Saturday 25 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, adjacent north Interior, north
and west Pilbara, western Gascoyne and inland Central West.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Wednesday.
