Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A surface trough will lie close to the Kimberley and Pilbara coasts for the
next few days. A weak tropical low will move off the west Kimberley coast over
the weekend.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A deep trough lies off the west coast and will move east during Sunday and
Monday with very hot conditions east of the trough. A new ridge develops
southwest of the State behind the trough.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 24 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Pilbara and Kimberley.

Forecast for Saturday 25 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, North Interior and Pilbara and
developing through the western Gascoyne and Central West districts during the
afternoon.

Forecast for Sunday 26 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, North Interior, Pilbara,
Gascoyne, eastern parts of the South West Land Division and the western
Goldfields.

Forecast for Monday 27 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, the northeast Interior, Pilbara,
Gascoyne, eastern parts of the South West Land Division and the western
Goldfields. Showers near the western south coast.

Forecast for Tuesday 28 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, the northeast Interior, Pilbara,
Gascoyne, northern and eastern parts of the South West Land Division and the
southwestern Goldfields. Showers near the western south coast.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Saturday.
