Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A band of patchy light rain will develop over the northwest of the State during
Thursday and continue into the weekend.
Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front is approaching the southwest, moving through the southern half
Wednesday night and Thursday morning, with a secondary front also moving over
southwestern parts on Thursday afternoon and evening. On Friday a ridge
develops over the south of the State with a weak cold front moving over
southern parts on Saturday.
Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 20 July
Showers about the Eucla, eastern South East Coastal and the southeast
Goldfields, contracting to the Eucla in the evening. Showers southwest of a
line from Mandurah to Walpole, extending to southwest of Jurien Bay to Bremer
Bay in the evening with showers increasing over the Lower West and South West
districts in the evening, with the chance of a thunderstorm.
Forecast for Thursday 21 July
Showers southwest of a line Carnarvon to Kalgoorlie, contracting to western and
southern parts of the South West Land Division during the afternoon. Small hail
possible south of Perth, with possible gusty thunderstorms about the south
coast. Patchy light rain developing over the west Pilbara, northern Gascoyne,
adjacent Goldfields and Interior.
Forecast for Friday 22 July
Showers over coastal parts of the South West Land Division, contracting to the
south coast during the day and extending to the coastal Eucla. Patchy light
rain over the west Pilbara and north Gascoyne, adjacent Goldfields and Interior.
Forecast for Saturday 23 July
Showers over the South West Land Division and the Eucla, mainly in the south.
Patchy light rain over the west Pilbara, north Gascoyne and adjacent Interior.
Morning frost possible through inland parts of the South West Land Division.
Forecast for Sunday 24 July
Showers over southern coastal parts of the South West Land Division and the
Eucla. Early morning drizzle in the Goldfields and western Eucla. Patchy light
rain over the west Pilbara, far north Gascoyne and adjacent Interior, clearing.
Morning frost possible through inland parts of the South West Land Division.
