Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A high pressure system over southern parts which has been producing fresh and
gusty easterly winds will gradually move eastwards over the next few days ahead
of a series of cold fronts.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system over the southeast of the State will gradually move
eastwards ahead of a cold front that will reach the southwest corner of the
State on Friday. A second front is then expected to move through the southern
half of the State overnight Saturday into Sunday morning.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 27 July
Very light rain developing over the southwest Gascoyne and northern Central
West district this evening.

Forecast for Thursday 28 July
Showers possible near the southwest coast between Margaret River and Albany.
Very light rain over the western Gascoyne and northern South West Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 29 July
Showers about the western parts extending throughout the South West Land
Division and adjacent parts of the Goldfields in the afternoon and to the
western Eucla in the evening. Showers increasing with gusty conditions
developing through western parts of the South West Land Division during the
afternoon.

Forecast for Saturday 30 July
Showers over the Gascoyne, southern Goldfields and the Eucla, contracting to
the coastal parts of the west and south coasts in the afternoon. Gusty showers
about the southern coastal parts in the morning.

Forecast for Sunday 31 July
Showers over the South West Land Division, Goldfields, Eucla and Southern
Interior and near coastal parts of the Gascoyne. Possible hail and
thunderstorms in the South West Land Division except for the Central West
extending to the southwest Goldfields in the afternoon and evening. Gusty
conditions through southern South West Land Division districts.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Thursday.
