Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A band of patchy light rain lies over the northwest of the State, strengthening
during the start of the weekend before clearing later Sunday.
Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front is moving through the southern parts of the State with a ridge
developing in its wake on Friday. A weak cold front moves over southwestern
parts of the State Saturday before a new ridge develops in its wake on Sunday.
Forecast for the rest of Thursday 21 July
Showers over western and southern parts of the South West Land Division,
extending to southwest of a line Kalbarri to Southern Cross to Esperance during
the evening. Small hail possible about the south coast east of Cape Leeuwin.
Possible gusty thunderstorms about the south coast. Patchy rain over the west
Pilbara, northern Gascoyne and far northern Goldfields.
Forecast for Friday 22 July
Showers throughout the South West Land Division, contracting to the coastal
parts in the early morning before further contracting to the south coast later
in the morning. Showers extending into the coastal parts of the Eucla later in
the day. Patchy light rain over the west Pilbara and north Gascoyne, adjacent
Goldfields and Interior. Morning frost possible through southern inland parts
of the South West Land Division.
Forecast for Saturday 23 July
Showers over the southwest parts of South West Land Division extending
throughout the South West Land Division in the afternoon and into the Eucla in
the evening. Areas of rain over the west Pilbara, north Gascoyne and Interior.
Morning frost possible through inland parts of the South West Land Division.
Forecast for Sunday 24 July
Showers over southern coastal parts of the South West Land Division and the
Eucla. Patchy light rain over the Pilbara, far north Gascoyne and adjacent
Interior, clearing in the afternoon. Morning frost possible through inland
parts of the South West Land Division.
Forecast for Monday 25 July
Showers along the southern coastal parts of the South West Land Division,
extending into inland parts in the afternoon. Light showers developing over the
western Pilbara in the late evening. Morning frost possible through inland
parts of the South West Land Division.
