Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A high pressure system builds over southern parts, producing strong and gusty
easterly winds over the northern parts.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A strong cold front moves through southern parts of the State with a new ridge
developing in its wake. A cold front moves over the southern parts on Wednesday
with a second weaker front approaching the southwestern parts on Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 31 July
Showers over the southern and central parts of the South West Land Division,
contracting to the coastal parts south of Cape Naturaliste during the evening.
Gusty winds over southern parts of the South West Land Division. Thunderstorms
and possible hail over southern districts, contracting to the coastal parts of
the Southeast Coastal District and the Eucla during the evening. Patchy light
rain over the South Interior.

Forecast for Monday 1 August
Showers near the south coast, contracting to east of Israelite Bay in the early
morning and clearing later in the day. Morning frost over inland parts of the
South West Land Division. Patchy light rain over eastern parts of the Southern
Interior in the early morning. Gusty southeasterly winds over Gascoyne, North
Interior, Pilbara and adjacent Kimberley.

Forecast for Tuesday 2 August
Morning drizzle over coastal parts of the Eucla. Gusty winds over northern
central parts in the morning.

Forecast for Wednesday 3 August
Areas of rain over western parts, extending into the central parts of the South
West Land Division and Gascoyne during the day. Showers increasing about the
South West district towards evening. Gusty winds throughout most of the South
West Land Division developing during the morning. Possible thunderstorms about
the southwest Capes in the evening.

Forecast for Thursday 4 August
Areas of rain extending from northwest parts into the central and southeastern
parts of the State. Showers throughout the South West Land Division. Moderate
to heavy falls along the coastal parts of the Gascoyne.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Monday.
