Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A high pressure ridge lies over central parts, with a high pressure system
expected to move over southern parts by Monday and lie in the Bight on Tuesday,
bringing fresh and gusty winds to northern districts.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A strong cold front moves through southern parts late this evening and during
Sunday before a new ridge of high pressure develops over southern WA on Monday.
A high pressure system will lie in the Bight on Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 30 July
Patchy light rain over the south Gascoyne, northern Goldfields, South Interior
and the Eucla. Showers southwest of a line Shark Bay to Eyre, becoming more
widespread with the chance of thunderstorms southwest of Busselton to Albany in
the evening. Gusty winds with showers southwest of a line Mandurah to Bremer
Bay.

Forecast for Sunday 31 July
Patchy light rain over the northeast Goldfields, South Interior and the
northeast Eucla, contracting eastwards during the day. Showers over the South
West Land Division, gusty winds over most of the South West Land Division with
hail possible over central and southern districts, the southern Goldfields and
the southwest Eucla. Thunderstorms possible over southern coastal districts,
contracting to the South East Coastal District during the afternoon.

Forecast for Monday 1 August
Showers near the south coast. Morning frost over inland parts of the South West
Land Division. Gusty southeasterly winds over the Pilbara, Gascoyne and North
Interior.

Forecast for Tuesday 2 August
Morning drizzle over coastal parts of the Eucla. Showers developing about the
southwest Gascoyne in the evening. Gusty winds over northern central parts in
the morning.

Forecast for Wednesday 3 August
Showers about western parts of the South West Land Division and western
Gascoyne, tending to areas of rain and extending throughout central and
northern parts of the South West Land Division during the day. Showers
increasing about the South West district towards evening. Gusty winds
throughout most of the South West Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Sunday.
