Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies across the southwest of the State with a general
easterly flow over northern districts. A middle level cloud band will develop
over far western parts during Monday and extend over central parts during
Tuesday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system is moving into the Bight. A cold front is expected to
reach the southwest Capes by Sunday morning and move over the southwest of the
State during the day. A middle level cloud band will develop over northwestern
parts during Monday and extend east over central parts of the State on Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 18 June
Showers over the eastern Eucla, clearing by the evening.

Forecast for Sunday 19 June
Showers about the Southwest district, extending through western and southern
parts of the South West Land Division.The chance of thunderstorms over the
South West district. The chance of showers over the western Pilbara.

Forecast for Monday 20 June
Showers over mainly southern coastal parts of the South West Land Division.
Rain areas extending from the Central West district and southwest Gascoyne to
the Goldfields and northwest Gascoyne.

Forecast for Tuesday 21 June
Rain areas over the Gascoyne, western Pilbara, northern Central West district,
the northern Central Wheat Belt, Goldfields, southern Interior and the Eucla
with some moderate to heavy falls possible over the Gascoyne. Showers over
mainly southern coastal parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Wednesday 22 June
Showers over western and southern parts of the South West district and western
South Coastal district, extending east along the south coast and north over the
Lower West district during the day. Thunderstorms possible over coastal parts
of the Southeast Coastal district in the evening. Rain areas over the Gascoyne,
southwest Pilbara, northern Goldfields and Interior, slowly easing during the
day.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Sunday.
