Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies over the south of the State and will remain near
stationary for the next few days. A cloud band will lie across the Pilbara and
Interior during Thursday and Friday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies over the south of the State and will remain near
stationary for the next few days. A broad trough will develop near the Gascoyne
coast on Saturday and extend southwards through central parts of the State over
the weekend.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 29 June
Showers near the west and south coasts and also in the southern Gascoyne and
northern Goldfields. Some patchy light rain in the western Pilbara.

Forecast for Thursday 30 June
Showers near the south coast and also in the southern Gascoyne and northern
Goldfields. Patchy rain through the Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne and Interior.

Forecast for Friday 1 July
Showers near the western south coast and about the southwest Capes. Morning
showers over the eastern Eucla coast. Rain in the Interior, with some patchy
light rain through the Pilbara and Gascoyne.

Forecast for Saturday 2 July
Showers in the area from Cape Naturaliste to Bremer Bay. Areas of rain in the
Gascoyne, far northern South West Land Division and the Goldfields. Some patchy
light rain over the Pilbara and Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 3 July
Showers across the southern and eastern South West Land Division. Areas of rain
in the eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla and South Interior, gradually
contracting eastwards during the day. Rain also possible in the western Pilbara.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Thursday.
