Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A rain band lies over southern parts and will slowly extend further northeast
during Wednesday and Thursday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A rain band over northern parts will contract north on Wednesday and Thursday.
A west to southwesterly flow will maintain showers over southern parts of the
State for the next few days as a series of weak cold fronts brush the south
coast.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 21 June
A cloud band will bring rain to the Gascoyne, western Pilbara, northern Central
West district, the northern Goldfields and southern Interior with some heavy
falls possible over the Gascoyne and southwest Pilbara. Showers south of the
cloud band, mainly near the south coast.

Forecast for Wednesday 22 June
Rain areas over the Gascoyne, southwest Pilbara, northern Goldfields and
Interior, slowly easing from the south during the day. Some moderate to heavy
falls over the northern Gascoyne and southwest Pilbara.
Showers over western and southern parts of the South West district and western
South Coastal district, extending east along the south coast and north over the
Lower West district during the day.

Forecast for Thursday 23 June
Rain areas over the Pilbara, far northeast Gascoyne and the Interior.
Showers near the west coast south of Jurien Bay and along the south coast and
Eucla coast.

Forecast for Friday 24 June
Patchy rain areas over the northeast Gascoyne, the Pilbara and the Interior.
Showers near the south coast west of Albany and near the west coast south of
Jurien Bay, increasing about the southwest Capes late in the evening.

Forecast for Saturday 25 June
Patchy rain areas over the northeast Gascoyne, the Pilbara and the Interior.
Showers southwest of a line Jurien Bay to Albany, extending to southwest of a
line Geraldton to Hopetoun by mid afternoon and contracting to the Central West
coast and the Southeast Coastal district in the evening.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Wednesday.
