Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies across the southwest of the State.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure builds across the southwest of the State this evening
and on Friday, before moving into the Bight on Saturday. A cold front is
expected to reach the southwest Capes by Sunday morning and move over the
southwest of the State during the day.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 16 June
Showers over the southern southern and southeastern parts of the South West
Land Division, the southern Goldfields and Eucla. The chance of some light
showers about the northeast Interior.

Forecast for Friday 17 June
Showers over southern and eastern parts of the South West Land Division, the
Goldfields, Eucla and southern Interior. The chance of showers over the North
Interior and southeast Kimberley.

Forecast for Saturday 18 June
Showers clearing the eastern Eucla during the day. Showers possible near the
southwest Capes. Possible showers over the southeast Kimberley, clearing.

Forecast for Sunday 19 June
Showers about the Southwest district, extending through the remainder of the
South West Land Division during the day, reaching the southwest Goldfields by
evening. The chance of showers over the western Pilbara. Thunderstorms possible
southwest of a line from Bunbury to Albany.

Forecast for Monday 20 June
Showers possible over the South West Land Division, Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla
and southern Interior, tending to rain areas over the Central West and the
southwest Gascoyne.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Friday.
