Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A weakening ridge lies through central parts of the State. A new ridge of high
pressure will extend from the west during Wednesday and Thursday across the
south of the State, increasing east to southeasterly winds over northern waters.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A weakening ridge lies through central parts of the State ahead of an
approaching cold front, due to reach the South West Capes early Tuesday
morning. The front will weaken during Tuesday as it moves across southern parts
of the State. A new high pressure ridge will extend from the west during
Wednesday across southern parts of the State as a second, weak cold front
brushes the South Coast on Thursday morning.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 27 June
Showers about the South West Capes extending to southwest of a line from Perth
to Walpole later this evening.

Forecast for Tuesday 28 June
Showers extending across the South West Land Division and the adjacent Gascoyne
during the day. Chance of squally thunderstorms over western parts, most likely
during the afternoon and early evening.

Forecast for Wednesday 29 June
Showers southwest of a line Coral Bay to Laverton to Eucla, clearing from
inland parts of the South West Land Division, southern Goldfields and western
Gascoyne by evening.

Forecast for Thursday 30 June
Showers near the south and Eucla coasts and adjacent parts. Morning showers
along the remaining west coast south of Shark Bay. Afternoon showers possible
for the northeast Gascoyne.

Forecast for Friday 1 July
Showers near the south and southwest coasts. Morning showers over the eastern
Eucla.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Tuesday.
