Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A rain band lies over the Pilbara and North Interior and is expected to clear
to the east over the weekend. A high pressure system will move over the
southwest of the State on Sunday, increasing winds across the north.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front will move through southern parts of the State during Saturday.
Behind the front a high pressure system will move across the south of the State
during Sunday and Monday. A second cold front will move over the southwest on
Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 24 June
Areas of rain over the Pilbara, northern Gascoyne and Interior.
Showers southwest of a line from Mandurah to Walpole.

Forecast for Saturday 25 June
Rain areas over the northeast Gascoyne, the Pilbara and the Interior
contracting east out of the Gascoyne and west Pilbara during the day.
Showers southwest of a line Jurien Bay to Bremer Bay, extending to southwest of
a line Geraldton to Israelite Bay by mid afternoon before contracting to the
southeast of the State in the evening. Possible thunderstorms mainly near the
coast between Mandurah and Albany during the early morning.

Forecast for Sunday 26 June
Rain over the Interior, clearing during the morning.
Morning showers over the Eucla. Showers southwest of a line from Mandurah to
Walpole, mainly near the coast.

Forecast for Monday 27 June
Showers southwest of a line from Perth to Albany, mainly near the coast,
increasing later in the day.

Forecast for Tuesday 28 June
Showers extending across the South West Land Division during the day.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Saturday.
