Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies over the coastal Pilbara and into the central Kimberley.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough lies in land of the west coast and will continue to move further east
over the next couple of days. A ridge develops to the south of the State on
Wednesday with a new trough developing near the west coast on Friday, deepening
over the weekend.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 29 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, central Gascoyne,
Central West and adjacent Central Wheat belt. Showers about the coastal parts
between Augusta and Albany.

Forecast for Wednesday 30 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, western
Goldfields and throughout the South West Land Division. Showers near the
southern coastal parts west of Israelite Bay.

Forecast for Thursday 31 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Gascoyne, Goldfields and
eastern South Wet Land Division. Showers near the southern coastal parts.

Forecast for Friday 1 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern Kimberley, eastern Gascoyne,
Goldfields, Southern Interior and the Eucla. Showers along the southern coastal
parts east of Walpole.

Forecast for Saturday 2 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, Western
Interior, inland Gascoyne, Goldfields and throughout the South West Land
Division. Light showers about the coastal parts of the Eucla, mainly in the
morning.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Wednesday.
