Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies over through the inland Pilbara and into the southern
Kimberley.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough lies through central and eastern parts of the State while a ridge of
high pressure develops along the south coast. A high will move south of the
State during Thursday and into the Bight on Friday allowing a new trough to
develop near the west coast where is will linger and deepen over the weekend.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 30 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, inland Gascoyne,
western Goldfields and northern and eastern South West Land Division. Showers
near southern coastal parts between Walpole and Israelite Bay.

Forecast for Thursday 31 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern Kimberley, eastern Gascoyne,
Goldfields and northeastern South Wet Land Division. Showers near the southern
coastal parts east of Albany.

Forecast for Friday 1 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern Kimberley, eastern Gascoyne,
Goldfields, Eucla and northeastern South Wet Land Division. Showers along the
southern coastal parts east of Albany.

Forecast for Saturday 2 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, Western
Interior, eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, western Eucla and the South West Land
Division.

Forecast for Sunday 3 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, Interior, far
eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, western Eucla and the southeastern South West
Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Thursday.
