Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies over through the inland Pilbara and into the southern
Kimberley.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A high will move into the Bight on Friday allowing a new trough to develop near
the west coast. The surface trough will deepen and lie over the South West Land
Division during the weekend.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 31 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the far northern Kimberley, eastern Gascoyne,
west Goldfields, northern South East Coastal district, western Eucla and
northeastern South West Land Division. Showers near the southern coastal parts
east of Albany.

Forecast for Friday 1 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern Kimberley, southern Gascoyne,
Goldfields, Eucla, South Interior, and northeastern South West Land Division.
Showers along the southern coastal parts east of Albany.

Forecast for Saturday 2 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, western Interior, eastern
Gascoyne, Goldfields, western Eucla and the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Sunday 3 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, Interior, far
eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla and the southeastern South West Land
Division. Showers near the west coast during the morning.

Forecast for Monday 4 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, Interior, far
eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, and the southern South West Land Division.
Showers near the west coast north of Jurien Bay.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Friday.
