Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies over the coastal Pilbara and into the central Kimberley.
Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough lies near the west coast, moving inland Tuesday afternoon. A ridge
develops to the south of the State on Wednesday with a new trough developing
near the west coast on Friday.
Forecast for the rest of Monday 28 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara and Gascoyne.
Forecast for Tuesday 29 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, western Gascoyne,
Central West and adjacent Central Wheat belt. Showers about the coastal parts
between Augusta and Albany
Forecast for Wednesday 30 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, southern Gascoyne,
western Goldfields and throughout the South West Land Division. Showers near
the southern coastal parts west of Israelite Bay.
Forecast for Thursday 31 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Goldfields, southern Gascoyne and
adjacent South West Land Division. Showers near the southern coastal parts.
Forecast for Friday 1 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern Kimberley, inland Pilbara, central
Gascoyne, Goldfields, Southern Interior and the Eucla. Showers along the
southern coastal parts.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Tuesday.
